The point is that to be successful online you have to be able to attract people in very large numbers long before you can sell them anything. In fact generating sales is actually an outcome of getting all the other marketing systems in place and running smoothly first.

Network marketing is so called because you have to develop a network of your own and then market your products, services and business opportunities to that network. In essence you can only sell to people you already have a relationship with.
