English
The simplest way to remove a BIOS password is to simply remove the CMOS battery. A computer will remember its settings and keep the time even when it is turned off and unplugged because these parts are powered by small battery inside the computer called a CMOS battery. If we pull out this battery, the computer will forget alot of its hardware settings, including its BIOS password.

If those ways do not work try some BIOS password cracking software. But be careful with this, you may totally destroy your BIOS!

By ACDCrocks822 [Affiliate User] 1223244785 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBasically yes, but it would be a little hard to locate the battery because you have to disassemble quite a lot parts of the laptop.
Maybe you should first use the mainboard's manufacturer's backdoor password. If this does not work and you are not able to find the battery try to find your mainboard's setting-pins with which you can reset the password using a jumper.
is it the same thing for laptops also?

By psycopyro001 [Affiliate User] 1222081064 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewell you will have to keep updating the date and time. I do this everymorning since I havent bought a new battery yet. and I over clock it. So first thing I do is turn on computer, go straight to bios, overclock that S**t , turn off drive A: since Im not using it. Then save and exit. Then go to my desktop double click the time on the bottom right, change the date to the proper date, then update the time and Im done to start the day..
