From my experience, I would think that he might have a degree of autism. He was intelligent with his choices and his responses to the questions, but was obviously overexcited. Often autistic people have obsessions, and perhaps this show was one of them, and he was unable to keep his self control. Good on him though, because he was having the time of his life!!
