      Hi M, sorry just realize you posted a question. The main theme of the video is on desolation. Each short clippet is metaphorically linked to the lyrics but at the same time open ended to let you fill up the gaps before and after. Why I made this video, well I am first a fan rachael yamagata, and this song somehow invoked the inspiration for this video.
