By rhalp202 [Affiliate User] 1222090644 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou'll soon see that randomness isnt random at all!
goodluck in your endeavours guys!
Yes even Javascript would be a great starter, although this guy seems to know alot about the language as is teaching it at a very good pace. Programming is independent of languages, the key is to become a problem solver. Those methodologies are applicable to any language!!
Its cool to see guys your age learning to program, but if you dont love it personally you wont do it for long. Its the best headache you'll ever get.
PS: benguy, we all have twins across the world, its the permutations
If this is your first coding language, that it's probably better to start on something that has an easier syntax, and more forgiving. Something like PHP would suit nice, if you wanted to learn C++ at a later date.

By benguy1 [Affiliate User] 1221250899 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhen I was 14 I had pascal(another programming language) classes at the school and I understood nothing. I started with C at the uni at 18 and this time I got it very easy. I guess my mind was not prepared to program before. However I know there are many kids who learn to program earlier (I guess it could depend on the teachers or personal motivation). It also depends on what you call basics (to make applications for the console is simple and it could take just a couple of days)
