  • I think i kno how he did it

    The guy is swerving left and right the whole clip.... obviously trying to get out of the camera's view. Now as you acan see when he deads for the fence he swerved out of the camera's way. The bottom of the fence is unhooked, which he rigged to do, and has he drives through it, it lifts up from the bottom and slides over his car. Then it juss comes back down and when the cop gets there it looks like he drove through it. Tell me what you guys think. Possibility?

    Iv read numerous comments from different websites regarding this video, and i have to say that some of them, are the most dumbest and ridiculous explanations iv ever read.
    firstly, Its not a ghost car unfortunatly
    2)The police officer chasing this getaway driver is just plain lazy
    3)The getaway driver bascily outsmarted outskilled and outran the police - one of the best getaways iv seen on the net
    4) yes the video is REAL but highly edited
    5) The fence was short - the dead end wasnt BEHIND the fence but to the RIGHT of the fence where the road end'd.
    Driving over the fence explanation: Watch the video several times, and pause it just as the cop car makes a left turn to chase after the getaway car...you can clearly see that the fence looks to be about the length of a car, It has TWO white poles on either side of the fence which are there to keep the fence upright, so obviously the fence is GROUNDED.So theres no way the driver could have driven straight over that fence without it being ripped from the ground or severely damaged in some way. So in saying that...there is no way he could have gone under,over or THROUGH the FENCE. What i think happened : The fence ended a few meters on the left aswell and the car being chased just turned a few secs earlier than the cop car. Now instead of the cop going around the fence and continue the chase ..he stops exactly infront of the fence where its visible ..because he couldnt manovur the car fast enough in order to go the same direction the getaway car was going in.I guess What we really need to know is:
    what was behind the fence?
    How come there were no helicopters deployed?
    Why was the cop car imitating almost every swirve the getaway car was doing? thats gota be the worst way to taill someone and still stay behind them.
    It would be good to go to the scene where the fence is and take a look at the suroundings and see what possibly way the car could have escaped...

    the 3 faces of the getaway driver:
    A few people noticed that when you pause the video clip around the 22 second mark when the commentator says "quick glimpse" you can make out 3 different faces of the driver in 3 different frames. Personaly i dont have a explanation for this..thats for you to think over and come to your own conclusion. Check out other forum threads about what people have said about this , apperently 1st frame clear shot reveals a typical alien face staring directly at you,no hair is visible around the head or face. then you acctualy see in one of the next frames a human face wich is not lighted by the copcars headlights though the front and nose are, like something makes his face change into a human face. and eventualy you will see a long haired dude with a blue shirt driving away out of screen. Its abit hard to see beacause of the bad quality footage, but if u rewind it over and over again youl eventualy get it.
    In conclusion. I think the driver had pre-nowledge of where he was going to go and how he was

      kinda works, i dont believe it sprang back up...the getaway driver deffinatly went LEFT and AROUND the fence, the angle makes sence, because when the cop car turns to chase him, u can just see the fence still intacked, and it wasnt wobbling, that was just the car's suspension when it had to make a sudden stop, otherwise it woulda gone straight through That fence

      it was a normal police chase which was made dramatic by the commendator.

      he starts with
      1. The things are going to get a whole lot stranger(FRAME 23:35:03)
      2.He remarks as mysterious driver instead of the usual "suspect"
      3.He exclaims that the car has disappeared (FRAME 23:35:28)in to thin air but actually you can see the tail lamps of the car that was out of view of the camera for
      a full 8 seconds
      4.His dramatical commentary goes on like"In the blink of an eye the driver and the car comes in to view again"(if you watch the timer you can see it skips
      from 23:35:36 to 23:36:43, so for a blink of an eye it takes more than a full minute. amazing isn't it)
      5. Have anyone seen a possessed man driving??? Hear him say at frame 23:37:13
      6. When the so called supernatural speed occurs at 23:37:20 it seems that the video has been edited. Watch closely the
      frames from 23:37:20 to 23:37:30 repeated twice. So the supernatural speed last for only ten seconds with the cruiser right on the tail of the suspect car(might be the cruiser is also in supernatural speed)
      7.Why there is no police officers interview to confirm they decided to call it the ghost car.

      some TV guys have made an ordinary chase in to a ghost story. Check it out all the sites have this same video and commentary.

      As for the driving through the fence, watch closely the left pillar at frame 23:37:58(94th sec) it will be far higher than the fence and the other poles. Usually the supporting post/pillar of the fence will be at the height of the fence. Whereas the pillars that has the entrance, or some sort of gate will have normally heavier and high pillars.
      The car must have driven around the pillar which the cruiser might have missed. Because a car driving through a fence would make a considerable amount of noise and disturbance to the fence. Better check it out with Gardcitypd!!

      i've seen the tape for like ten times, and ...

      1) true, the fugitive has a blue shirt, BUT, he didn't
      change from bald to hairy... normal ppl call that
      shade or shadow.
      2) if you see the tape closely, at the last part of it,
      the fence is completely closed, there is no left or
      right opening, and obviously... it wasn't a plane, so
      it couldn't have just passed over it!! :)

      3) i agree with you with the part that he was wearing a
      blue shirt and that it was fake cos the police DIDN"T
      HAVE THE SIREN ON, and it wasn't a proper car chase...
      but the rest... no, sry

      now, 4 options there are...

      A) either it is a ghost car and i am fuc*ing up with the
      tape,

      B) or, the police doesn't know how to do a proper car
      chase.. ( we are "protected" by them ) and are
      completly dumb, cos he passed through a closed fence,

      C) OR ELSE ( which propably is this one.. ) its a
      complete prank video, and i spent 15 min of my life
      writing an explanation, while those fu*kers are
      laughing at my expence!

      I don't see the opening in the fence others are seeing. I've watched this video a few times now. I guess it makes more sense than this being a "ghost car" but who's to say there are no such things as ghost. Does this car kick up any dust or leave skid marks? I'll watch it again.

  • What i see:

    Between 93 – 94 seconds, i see a pole that is not shown at the last camera shot where the car stops.
    Fence is not seen until police car stops and we have a clear view cause of camera moving. So,we can not be sure that the fence is going beyond that pole we are missing at the end of the clip.
    Secondly, just before the ghost car gets out of our sight for a moment at 92 seconds or so i think it has turned more to the left than that actually the police car does. So, a quick turn to the left, next to the pole we are missing at the end of the clip where no fence is there and at the moment it passes that pole a quick right and it keeps it going straight ahead after that.
    So, there is the illusion of the car passing through the fence.
    And at the beginning, i paused many times, no alien or anything for a driver, sorry.

    Ok, people. First of all this is not a ghost car. Why? Common sense. People see things that they dont under stand and start jumping to conclusions. Newsflash, police officers are people too and also jump to conclusions!
    Fact: A camera only has 180 degrees of view and the bad quality of this video doesnt help either. So when the car turns to the left (out of sight) you fail to see what really happens. If you put a little logic and common sense you can put the pieces together. If you "closely" watch the video between 1:33 and 1:38 you can see that the fence polse are on the inside toward the officers car. As the officer drives up to the fence and stops. His lights shine directly on the pole. After closely looking at the pole you can see that only the top of the pole is secured. So if a car were to drive to the fence it would act as a "doggy door" which you dont see because of all the dust kicked up. Also, the fence appears to be moving as the officer approached it. So a little logic and common sense you can solve this riddle. Thank you and please reply!

    Has anybody noticed how when the car is passing the green highway sign it starts to go behind it then, amazingly, goes in front of it, then through it! Pause the video yourself and check it out! How is this possible? At first the head lights of the police car clearly illuminate the sign post as the car passes behind then, instantly, the car is in frount of the sign then it appears to go through it. Because of this, I think that this car really is a ghost!

Between the two grounded poles (towards the very left) you can see the fence and the top pole learning over like.....maybe... A CAR DROVE THROUGH IT. just watch the video plz and you'll see it.

    There was a man in exatcly the same car as the crook who went out to a 24 hour store and on his way home a lemon fell out of his shopping bag and out of his car and bounced over the fence, he then proceeded to find a suitable entrance point and engaged in a lemon search frenzy by leaving the lights switched on his car to guide him in the search. In the mean time a crook happens to swerve near that exact point where the other driver was searching for his lemon and as the crook took a sharp left turn the police didn't see him from the dust but as soon as the dust cleared at 23:37:56 seconds they saw the lemon guy drive off because he found his lemon and that confused the police. Case closed.

    Pause the video between 1:46 and 1:48 and you will see that the fence is broken. There are 2 posts, left and right and the horizontal beam which holds the net in place. The horizontal beam hands a lot lower on the left than it does on the right. Car ran it down and the fence sprung back up somewhat.

    As far as i saw, NOT ONE PERSON MENTIONED the fact that before the cop turned off the highway towards the fence, he yells "DEAD END HERE" ...TWICE!!

    ...So HE obviously KNEW WHERE HE WAS and WHERE HE WAS GOING.

    The other thing is, why don't they just trace the plates back. they're visible in the first part of the video, not on the streaming video we watch but more than likely on the original police video. maybe then we can all find out if this was a really "ghost car"

    I don't tout that I know the explanation to this video, but with anything captured on video or in pictures, it is entirely possible that a car could allude a pursuing cop vehicle. The narrator gives no indication to the location around the fence or to the stability of the fence itself. Added to the fact if this was an authentic albeit edited police captured pursuit, there are no interviews from the officer or anyone else who has viewed the "ghost car." Simple as this: gtirladdd was right; there is no "ghost car" just a really good driver with a preconceived notion of where he was going.

    As you all can see the fend falls apart, so that means the car passes over the fend, what happened is the camara didn't record the part of the video, because the cop was driving straight without focusing the car, when he turns the fends went back to normal so the cop had to stop. At the first when i watched the video I thought was unbelievable, but watching the video a couple more time you realize what really happened.
