        Syd Barrett was truly a poet and a musical genius...all the work Pink Floyd have released after his departure from the group was inspired by him...
        In november it will be the 40th anniversaty of their first album The Piper at the gates of dawn, and a special deluxe edition is on its way...can't wait for that!!

          It seems that some of you don't know who Syd barrett is/was. Well, he was the founding member of Pink Floyd, who due to the fact that he was clinically INSANE was replace by David Gilmour, who had the good fortune to not be insane and to therefore endure.
