      Air hogs! do they still make those? by the way this was one of two tailsitter turbo prop designs tried in the early 1950's. they never managed a complete transition to forward flight. & landing on the tail with the pilot looking back over his shoulder was cumbersome, these aircraft were pioneers in vertical flight.

    air flight was never going to be created by one nation and then just coppied! all over the world there were desighners creating air creaft! b4 and after the right bruthers! and please rember it was the natzi who were the first to use jet planes!!! and after the war the us stole von brown (the lead scientis of the v2 project) and used his knowlege and expericen to produce there own air craft and space craft!
