because have u ever heard of the news about this thunder knocked down a couple of players running on the wet grass? i think they must have had that in mind....

yea they should..
lightning will strike where ever the place at ground to neutrallized the positve or negative ion up there.. when you are at field, u are among the tallest "thing" they can reach.. and plus the wet ground.... they really should run..
