V17 is not clearly the rapture. This happens after the tribulation when Jesus returns as Lord of lords. This is not talking about a rapture, there is no rapture. Clouds is symbolic for a mass of people.

Hebrews 12:1
V1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a CLOUD of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us,etc. It is all what you read.

All of this stuff was going on when every majour disaster happened. The same things were said with Pompei, bubonic plague, WW1, WW2, etc...yet this rapture has yet to happen. Furthermore the scriptures are contradictory on the deity of Jesus.

You're right, it's not a secret, but the rapture will happen and the scriptures are very clear on it.

salvation and the rapture is an open book test. how can anyone still miss it. there is a devil out there decieving people, but the beginning is in the garden when adam chose to be like God. now man has knowledge of good and evil, and according to their nature, they can believe they are a god, so they dont like to hear that there is only one way to heaven.

It will be no secret - the RAPTURE - Just before it happens, there'll be LOTS of Proof, LOOK around you ,major headlines.God provides a last minute chance..God 's Grace, this Rapture my Friend,in(comments below,)is no secret.. Many know now, it in the air.Those left behind will be deveistated. Signs before & after. So when we dissappear, your chances are slim, you;ll have to be be-headed for your hidden belief. The Rapture is NO Surprise or secret "We EXPECT IT! Are you AFRAID to WATCH?

The bible does not teach a secret rapture accor to MT 24. I am surprised that so many christians belive this.
