We have comedy in the States as well, so many different types that none can actually be labeled American comedy.. I wonder why someone would put the entire country in the mode of ONE Comic?
Many of the kids who post here only do so they can see their name on the web...lol. They often have nothing to say about the clips.. sad but true.

otherwise, the Public Television Stations wouldn't be loaded up with BBC world news (yes, its comedy if you're properly lubricated), Monty Python, Are You Being Served, Mr. Bean, and the rare but enjoyable Eddie Izzard set...

Don't stereotype the Yanks...that's why we're yelling at morons like hop-on. He stereotyped you Brits and your humor.

Not actually representative of British humour... French love him and Mr Bean who by the way is very English (Not British) Scots like a completely different humour type, more earthy and basic Billy Connolly for example, although ther English love him because he is outrageous!. English like Irony and dry throwaway one liners. For the best of English humour try "Yes Minister" and "Yes Prime Minister" classic and really clever humour, "Faulty Towers" was another.
