Men Prefer Musicals to Christmas Shopping!

Forget showers of gifts, British women are more likely to be treated to a show tune by their partner this year, as nearly a third of UK men (29 per cent) have admitted they would rather watch a musical than hit the shops this Christmas to buy a present for a loved one.

This could be due to the fact that UK blokes are completely baffled as to what to buy their loved one this Christmas, with nearly a third (31 per cent) admitting they have no idea what their partner wants.

The research was conducted by Boots, who are offering a helping hand to guide men through the perfume minefield this Christmas. They are employing an army of 600 fully trained independent Fragrance Consultants, or “nose-it-alls”, supported by several hundred Christmas colleagues. They will be on the look-out for confused customers in Boots stores across the UK, ready to offer advice on scents to suit the special women in their life.
