As a photoshop specialist, take it from me ~ all pictures are "airbrushed." They tone down bone lines and other flaws. Cameras are not color accurate. Color correction helps make all celebrities and models look "healthier." I used to do work on images for a major dept store's catalog. It's not that the models were ugly or photographers were bad...it's just images do need fixing up to be printable.

no she looks like crap in the original picture, and that maybe the same pose, but its not the same body AT ALL its not the same background and not even the same face if you look at that properly.
the final picture for the add on the left is a more toned body, with a MUCH thinner waist. even the hair is different.
im sorry but thats not jessica alba's body at all, its just her face put into it.

The sun just completely bleaches the scene on the left and it really did need to be cleaned up. As a casual fellow just glancing I dont immediately notice a change. But you guys are right. They did a lot of wierd unneeded changes to attain the photo they wanted. Its only really noticed when some time is spent on the photo though. I suspect a good deal of change was the changer, not the employer's decision to make the job look worth keeping considering how many jobs are kinda being cut..

I agree, she looks beautiful and better on the left. But the average consumer wouldnt buy the picture on the left, unless he/she is a jessica alba fan.

To be honest, when putting both pictures side by side, my eyes are automatically directed to the picture on the right.
