my kickboxin teacher was a 6th dan black belt n he won the europeans and worlds he was like number 1 in da world lol hew as from iran haha the tank!

Maybe it was just a demonstration to the rest of the class of how to handle such a situation, maybe hes just S**t at karate, who knows

Karate traditionally includes nagewaza, although the focus is mainly on throws that can be done without a gi. Judo throws that use the gi are often either modified or eliminated. O goshi (hip throw) is one of the most commonly taught throws in karate.
