She got the surgery but she had complications and has parts of her skin being rotten and crap...but she got to her goal! and for other ppl, with complaints about obese...just shut it guys, she made it and lost the weight and I think it's awesome she did..don't treat others how you wouldn't want to be treated..

Linnea has a heart and is kind and fair. She isn't making fun of this poor woman and she has empathy for her. So, Judge KinnZ decides she must be obese because she is sensetive to the human condition in all it's forms. Oh, now I bet the judge thinks I'm fat, too. I don't know my BMI, never interested me. I can tell you I'm 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs. I don't guess that's probably skinny enough for some, but skinny ain't my goal. Skinny is ugly.

- I wish I could put the weight on...
I have an eating disorder. I'm not anorexic, I'm not bulemic, I eat enough food in one day to feed two people - i.e. 5000 calories. I don't know when to stop eating, I never feel full, and yet I still only weigh 133 Ibs. I'm 5' 11" .My doctor doesn't understand, and neither do I. We are guessing that I must have a metabolic rate that runs through the roof. The only way to find out is to have a shed load of medical tests, and quite frankly, I'm not in any danger of dying, so I don't bother with it. I just eat and eat and eat... Everyone I know is jealous of this ability I have, but for me it's a pain in the arse. My goal in life is to weigh more than 140 Ibs because I've never got there before in my 29 years...

Make sure you find a doctor who knows what he's doing and can be sure you don't have health issues that could make the surgery too risky. While the pounds come off do things like pilates and other resistance training to keep as toned as possible. That may help reduce the excess skin, but not all of it. And good for you for being brave enough to annouce your weight on this site that is so full of rude and ignorant people who can't wait to pounce. The fact that they haven't pounced yet is probably because they never read anything, they just stare mindlessly at videos. :)

I've only seen one or two people who don't judge her immediately. As the person said before me, the reason she was overweight is unknown. Stop judging her just because she isn't 100 pounds. Maybe she got a bit obese, and went through some emotional problems. Hell, I bet a lot of you insult others to make yourself feel better.

ive read that people who have gastric bypasses often have this surgery because the rapid weight loss leaves them with excess skin. my question is, if she had gradually lost this weight would she still have excess skin? if so, what would be an ideal ratio of weight by time for someone to lose weight without excess skin. i know there are health risks with obesity but to me all that loose skin would be more embarrasing than having the fat, but thats just my opinion.

The problem here is not some ridiculous Medical fabricated excuse for her self created condition. American doctors elegantly overcome this hurdle by creating a "syndrome" for her condition, in which they try to give the lazy, fat, junk food craving American population an excuse. Of course this so called syndrome is readily taken in by the self same population since most extremely overweight people feel that they can relinquish any form of responsibility by blaming it on some medical "illness" instead of taken the blame for their own fault, which seems to be the driving force for the "larger" part of the American population. I know how food is so cheap in the states, all though the quality is questionable, what i don't understand is how sooo many of you can just continue to eat, never exercise, and then blame it all on anything other then yourselves. You get no vote of sympathy from me.

Instead of raving on about over-eating, learn a little something about the real medical conditions that actually do result in weight issues. I'm not saying every fat person in the world (they aren't all in American, France is gaining on us), has a medical problem to explain themselves. Probably most over-weight people do just eat too much and don't exercise. But, you cannot know what this woman's problem was. The main thing is, she did something about it and for that she deserves kudos. It was brave to have surgery, since her size made it very risky. I work with people who have had such sugeries and what comes after ain't no fun. How would you like it if you couldn't even drink two swallows of water at a time? Maybe you are skinny and/or attractive in appearance, but by reading your post I can only see an ugly heart and soul.
