You can see here how the tsunami that killed over 200,000 lives in Indonisia basically worked. Check out the wave and in such a short distence the velocity. I believe by the color of the water that this was an open pit mine controled explosion in an area west of Miami. There is limestone that is dredged up after the settling by huge drag buckets. I have seen this in operation while living down there. The limestone is then processed for cement. Check out the huge Titan cement plant in this area. Their ponds they use to mine limestone look just like this one.

- Wasn't a Lake
  You can tell its not a lake because its too narrow and shallow, if it was a natural body of water it would have had a current. It was most likely a mining pit that filled in with rain water. You can tell theres no life in the water by the color, theirs to much mineral in the water to support life. So its pretty much no harm no foul, not much of a threat to nature.
