This origami video shows how to make an eight pointed star from eight squares. This is sometimes called a "the sun and moon" origami or "star and moon" origami because it starts out as a ring and you have to transform it into a star. This is one of my all time favorite folds.

  Glad you like it. I don't mention this in the video, but I don't use ordinary paper when making this... I use card stock to make it a little more sturdy. It works fine with paper, but card stock will make it last longer.
