Why would you allow someone like this to turn your key? Do not allow yourself to become his equal. His comments are below you and so is he. Your reactions will give him power over you. Many of the Israelis have only known Israel as home. They are the children and grandchildren of your perpetrators. This should not make them guilty as well. It is more important to concentrate efforts on moving forward. We do serve but one God.

It absolutely does show the negative side to being submissive, though it isn't the correct way to show your loyalty towards a deity, especially in Islam. Perhaps they wrapped their genitals so it would be safe for their 72 virgins?? As humorous as it sounds.

copoo The people who took part in that attempted bombing where not angry unemployed youth but well educated. The guy that was on fire had been found to have purposefully insulated his genitals from the explosion. Why? If attempting to blowing yourself doesn't show the negitive side of being submissive to a questionable deity what does?

Though, there are other religions such as Islam that have been found to have no contradictions, resulting in many people converting because of their unsuccessful findings.

That is also Christianity you are using as an example, which does of course contain many contradictions. The reason for that is because many religious books have been changed over the course of time, and when you have a book of God containing contradictions, you can only assume it as being written by man.

My point was that you do as most believer do, refuse to consider things that would not support you world view. example: some Christians actually demand to believe the world is 6 thousand years old. The scientific evidence is contrary to what the bible says.

I don't think there needs to be a wall between reality and religion. For the most part, many people consider their religion as a lifestyle that guides them through the reality they experience.
