Bumping noise heard on planes tape before it caught fire! DENVER (Dec. 23) - Investigators trying to determine why a Continental Airlines plane veered off a runway and skidded into a ravine heard an odd bumping and rattling noise on the flight's recorders shortly before it tried to take off.
