Hail Blue Devils
Its the Blue Devils in America thats all I know. But felt it was worth uploading here. I used to play the snare drum back in school, but we were nothing like this. Appreciate the skillz!!

  People who write "marching band" and compare them in some way to Drum and Bugle Corps should be shot (or otherwise inconvenienced). Going to the national championship in Denver one year wore out my senses. In a positive way, of course.

Wow, what a lot of nice comments. This is the Magic of Orlando 2003 drumline, under the direction of Colin McNutt (SCV '92, Star of Indiana '93, Blast, etc). Im the one in the second row (quad line), and Im the tall one. We worked really hard that summer, and there are more great vids of us floating around! Thanks for the nice comments!

very cool, but not impossible
with a few years of percussion experience and an extremely advanced drumline conductor, anyone could do that. its hard to find a conductor that can get a group of musicians to have that level of control when playing the snare. i congratulate the school for finding such a great line of players. very well done, but certainly not impossible.

if anybody knew anything about DCI ( Drum Corps International) they would know that this is not the Blue Devils. the blue devils play on dynasty drums and are about 1,000,000 times better. they have better height levels and technique, these guys are good but are no match for the blue devils

Yes I used to plat in High School too - but this is the perfection thaty you get from a thousand hours of practice for - for sure . . I just have to admire the dedication these guys have in keeping at it until it's to this level of perfection .Don't compare it to " Drum line "
that was a movie and if you made a mistake - you could do it over again - ( even thought they were fantasic ) .... This looks like it was taken in one continuous fliming session .Only my humble opinion .

  I was in marching band for all four years of high school....the drum line would do this for fun(they practiced all day in classes), the Cadets were #1 in our district when I graduated but i do have to admit these guys are pretty dang good
