yer he pretty good. nd the ppl that some of u guys mentioned are very good too.
however none of them cam even compair with jimmi hendrix he is the god of guitarists no one is in th same legue as him.
hav u ever seen anyone else play guitar behind there heads? nooo. have u ever seen anyone else play guitar with there teeth? nooo. so until u have dont try and put jimmi hendrix in the same legue with these ppl coz compared to jimmi hendrix they only amatures.

How can you guys compare Blues guitarist and Rock guitarist? Most of those names that you guys mentioned are blues guitarist, such as Vaughan, Robert Johnson. Malmsteen, Hendrix, Satriani, Van Halen, Jason Becker are pure rock, i guess. But Steve Vai kinda blues. It depends on everyone's taste. You all are right.

For guitarists, It just depend on their style. you cant compare, all them in a level, that anything is imposible, all can play all, its just depend the style what are you talking about. They have different their own style. example a guy called Eric Mongrain, he has his own style in playing guitar...

it seems that the meaning of a guitar "solo" is becoming more of like just going fast with those notes......

have you heard Vaughan play an acoustic guitar? Robert Johnson? Hendrix?
they play the bass, the rhythm and the lead at the same time....
now that's what a guitar solo means, "you can play on your own"....

if Robert Johnson and Jimi Hendrix weren't born, there'd be no rock music....

Well, there might still be good guitarists around if Kurt Cobain would have killed himself before he killed rock'n'roll. A dedicated guitarist could play that after playing for 5 years if he played 15-30 minutes a day, plus a good couple hour session every week. And while I agree that the likes of Malmsteen, Vai, and Satriani are extremely talented, they're a little boring sometimes, it starts sounding the same after a while. Either way, this pansy hardly knows the neck from the out jack. Creed Sucked. Period.
