I made this video long time ago, now I'm sharing it here with you. Please kindly rate and comment. Be respectful to Our King. Thank you.
I really love this song by the King.
(words & music by Arthur Glenn)
You saw me crying in the chapel.
The tears I shed were tears of joy
I know the meaning of contentment
Now I am happy with the Lord
Just a plain and simple chapel
Where humble people go to pray
I pray the Lord that I'll grow stronger
As I live from day to day
I've searched and I've searched
But I couldn't find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind
Now I'm happy in the chapel
Where people are of one accord
Yes,We gather in the chapel
Just to sing and praise the Lord
You'll search and you'll search
But you'll never find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind
Take your troubles to the chapel
Get down on your knees and pray
And Your burdens will be lighter
And you'll surely find the way
One of my all time Elvis favourites, many thanks.

By afsheenmayahi [Affiliate User] 1219942502DO YOU RESEARCH MORON. It was noticed. THE ORIGINAL VERSION IS THE BESTSELLING VERSION. NOW GO FIND OUT WHO MADE IT.
By atl404shawty04 [Affiliate User] 1219801102what the hell niggas just enjoy the MUSIC. it wasnt noticed when it was made in blaaaack. as you would.
By native1princess [Affiliate User] 1219453985To quote you-"But every singer has the freedom to sing all the songs they like to sing, that's the common sense." NO THAT'S NOT COMMON SENSE THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL "STUPIDITY." IF THAT WERE THE CASE ANYONE COULD JUST UP AND STEAL ANYONE'S MUSIC WITHOUT NOTICE OF COPYRIGHT LAW WHICH IS WHAT ELVIS DID. I SUGGEST YOU GO READ UP ON COPYRIGHT LAW OR BETTER YET ASK ANY SINGER OUT TODAY IF IT'S OKAY FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE THEIR MUSIC WITHOUT GETTING PERMISSION LET'S SEE IF THEY SAY "IT'S COMMON SENSE."
By atl404shawty04 [Affiliate User] 1219288001Maybe then again maybe not. It's a fact that he took songs without getting permission to take them that includes this song. But if you're saying that Elvis coming in and taking the artist copyrights was doing them a favor I HAVE TO DISAGREE. I would have more respect for him and all the other white artist that STOLE the music if they had done it LEGALLY. THEY DIDN'T.
By atl404shawty04 [Affiliate User] 1219273522The word "Stole" is used to refer to the SONGS and the TYPE OF MUSICAL STYLE. A great number of the songs Elvis "stole" where originally performed by black artist. He didn't even give them copyright credit. Most white artist just TOOK the songs and remade them without the proper legal means. Don't be obtuse I'm sure you knew what the term meant without me having to break it down for you.
By atl404shawty04 [Affiliate User] 1219273402but think about it, the exposure for black music wouldn't have been as accepted to white america had it not been sung by one of their own in the 50's / 60's was it done right? probably not...was it done? yes due to this and the leaking of the knowledge to white board heads that these songs were originally written by black people opened many doors in the music industry and we know today that this could really be appreciated by past black artists who would've never had a chance otherwise
