Macs are more used for, well, as you stated, multimedia purposes. PC leans towards more of a business use. I guess the reason I have a Mac is cause I really like them, and I'm an artist, Macs work wonders for people like me.

Yes there are windows fanboys and then there are Mac fanboys, I'm not a Windows fanboy, but it still doesn't mean you should go ripping on people and then that causes windows users to attack back, but I've used a Mac a few times at school, It didn't really suite my tastes, I prefer PC, but yeah, Macs are good for multimedia, and then PC has its advantages over Mac on other things.
