Most italians that wnet to soutehrnmost brazil were from nortern italy - Veneto, Lombardy,Trentino-Alto.. But maybe most italians that went to são paulo or even to brazil as a whole were actualy from central or southern italy..not sure. I think there are several beautifull and ulgy women in both northern and southern italians and every where else. The problem with women in the US is that they are usualy overwheight, eat bad food (too much hamburgers, fast food) and do not take care that much

Actually Italians that migrated into Brazil were Southern and Central Italian as well. Southern Italian are hotter than Northern Lombardic Italians.

Gentil, Not sure if you are understanding well my portuguese, and my spanish S**ks :D so i'll write in english. I come from a part of Brazil with an intense italian imigration, and you can find several women here wich are of pure or predominant italian ancestry and many more wich are at least in part italian. Italian (or italian descent) women have fame of being pretty here. I affirm again that many beautifull women from Brazil (and also Argentina) are of italian descent.

One explanation about the diference that italian (or italain descent) women may have here and in USA is that most italians wich imigrated to soutehrn brazil, uruguay and Argentina where of northern italain extract while in the USA where from southern italian. There are substantial differences between those groups and they can present some distinctive traits.

"Big noses" also occur among northern italians but not in the same proportion as among southern italians. And "big noses" also occur among other southern europeans.
For example its also common among spaniards, particulary among southern italians. And it is funny you criticizing big noses but mentioning penelope cruz as an example of beautifull women :D
