Depuis dix ans, le nombre d’élevages porcins au Maroc s’est réduit comme une peau de chagrin. La baisse continue des droits de douane sur l’importation de viande porcine pourrait bientôt sonner le glas du porc “made in Morocco”.

L’information peut étonner, mais il y a bel et bien des fermes spécialisées dans l’élevage du porc au Maroc. Et pour cause : aucune loi ne l’interdit et, hormis les exigences d’hygiène et de salubrité publiques, l’activité n’est soumise à aucune condition particulière !
