Its very sad that over 3,000 people lost their lives on 911. Did you know rumsfeld on Sept 10 2001, held a press conference to say that over $2 trillion was " un-accounted for " from PENTAGON.
No steeel structure in the history of man has EVER collasped because of fire. Remember that WTC building #7 was not hit by any plane. All 3 buillding fell to the ground in just over " free -fall " speed.

Where are the videos of the plane that supposedly hit the pentagon? If a 757 plane did hit then pentagon, where are the marks on the side of the pentagon ( 151 foot windpan )

What a joke. Nothing happened? 1 million South Vietnamese were killed in the fall and occupation of the Communists. The power tilted and South-East Asia fell to Communism, Laos and Cambodia also fell to Communism and in Cambodia, Pol Pot killed every 1/3 people... I never said the domino theory was correct, i said it stayed true in that respect.

There is one type of war you cannot win and it is not rhetoric or political, it is in military terms. If you have no strategy then your tactics can be amazing and your troops dedicated but it becomes short-lived and not collective. This is what we saw for years in Vietnam where guys in Washington and Chicago really didn't know much as to what they were doing and the strategy seemed to change every other month. The only real consistent strategy was to kill, and kill a lot of them... in other words, a purely attritional conflict.

For the first 20 months of the occupation, we had no strategy in Iraq. As described by a lot of people on the ground, each area of operations was like its own war. The American military had basically un-learned everything it learned in Vietnam and actually there was a kind of feeling after Vietnam that we wouldn't face an insurgency again and so our men were trained in conveontinal doctrine. So, we had guys thinking firepower was the solution and commanders sweeping entire areas of men 16-60 and sending all of them to abu gahraib where, because of lack of intelligence(another fundamental necessity for counter-insurgency) General Sanchez had approved of 29 different "enhanced" interrogation techniques not normally used by the army, 10 of which were dropped by the pentagon as being "overly agressive".

My point is, theres not such thing as a war you cannot win. We have fixed our mistakes and Petraus had done beautifully as he did in the initial occupation as head of the 101st airborne(major reason north, in places like mosul, were restive). Change the wrong people, change the wrong tactics/strategy, and fix your mistakes... we will win this war

the invasion of iraq happend after this event and this event was the reason america and british co-allision, (including france, germany and some others in smaller quantities) went to war, not the other way around,
