    When pushed - pivot, when pulled - enter. What do you do when sobebody just grabs? Kick them in the nuts. No competition and no sparring in Aikido means no rules, no refs - you win. Get your butt to the dojo and see what holds your arm up - you do, or else you lose it...

    • Kicks

      Aikido has kicks and apart from that a lot of other Atemis. Usually kicking is left to a minimum as this causes an unbalance of the body but when the opponent isnt in a position to counter kicking is possible. Kicking is usually commenced at higher levels (first Kyu or above) as being grounded is more imprortant to beginner Aikidokas.

      This is a demostration and if you think AiKido S**ks you should meet the guy whose collar bone i broke. If it wasn't for Aikido i'd have a knife stuck in my chest. Well if ignorance was bliss you'd probably be the happiest man alive!
