      they performed this dive, WANTING the sharks to attack her arm, kind of obvious since she holds the fish infront of it and pulls it away just when the shark prepares to bite down. They were testing the suit she is wearing, to see if it really could stand the sharks bite. They were one of the first people to do this experiment, so this is not a experiment gone wrong, it went just as they had wanted. Idiots.

      The guy filming this had a job title.. oh what could it have been, oh yes I know CAMERAMAN . And I'm just guessing here, but I would expect that his duties during this EXPIRIMENT, where they WANTED and expected a shark to latch onto her arm, was to FILM THE RESULTS !! Has everyone on metacafe gone mental? Did you read the sub title of this video " An expiriment with sharks gone terribly wrong " ? I don't know that it went " terribly wrong " a gash on the finger seems to be a small price to pay when testing out a shark defense suit. But that's beside the point, read the info in the title and it may help you discerne more information about the video.

    i cant believe that shark bit her....NOT!!! wtf people...i dont feel bad for people who put themselves in front of these kinds of animals...i just laugh before i see what happens and think to myself..."your gonna get F****d Up" and then when they do get attacked, they're completely in disbelief that they were its rediculous. Like i've said before, its unfortunate but thats what happens when you mess with dangerous animals.

    you guys dont know who ron and valerie taylor are then?they are renouned shark experts from australia they are also to my knowledge the very first people to freedive with great white sharks.They are marine biologists who have studied sharks since the late 60' early 70's and she did know what she was doing with that blue shark hence the reason why she wasn't punching kicking or even stabbing the shark she didnt want to draw attention for any other sharks in the area.

Its not like a shark will stop and think and say to itself "wait a minute i cant attack these guys these guys are experts they know what their doing this is a documentary."     First, she places the fish too close to her arm. Ya think the shark would go for a puny little fish or a much better piece of meat like an arm?
    Second, she doesn't do anything to regain control of the situation and allows herself to be the shark's playtoy. Kick IT.. Punch IT... DO something. And another thing, WHAT is the cameraman doing besides filming this lady that is soon to become someone's dinner?
