I prefer to base my belief on revealed divine truth not my own personal sentiment. How foolish one is to determine truth based on mere conjecture and personal opinion. That's not how to assertain what is true.
Also, I hardly think "God is a man like me." I am a fallen sinner polluted by sin. Jesus was the sinnless Son of God pure and undefiled. The contrast couldn't be greater. You are mistaken.
The bible is the Word of God. I will rest on that foundation rather than, like you seem to have, hedged your bet based on the size of the cosmos. I mean come on! Yea, the Universe is a large place but that doesn't make it unfeasable that God would enter into His own creation if He had a mind to. What better way to communicate to His creation. He came to redeem lost sinners in the person of Jesus Christ. And as in His day the Jewish leaders rejected Him, so today, it appears you have fallen in their footsteps.
