the rear wheel lost traction because he gave it too much throttle. His mistake was shutting the throttle off too fast while leant over, which let the rear tyre grip too fast, the bike straightens up very quickly thereby throwing the rider over the 'high side' of the bike. If he had just eased off it a little, he would have had more control and probably saved it. Poor throttle control was what did for him, not leaning the wrong way!

should have stayed on the throttle and rode out the x-up until the bike was upright and slowed. Rear can be turning 10k rpm but when you let off the throttle the bike better be standing straight up and you be prepared to go in the direction it is pointed
