Sometimes, I think people get frustrated practicing only a few simple obedience exercises. In this video, "sit", "place", "come" and "heel" are the simple commands used. It might seem monotonous when you are proofing these commands by practicing over and over again in different places and situations. But, if you do your homework, you can control your dog in any situation.

Training every day with your dog can be fun for both you and your dog. Establishing good learning habits with these few commands lays the foundation for further learning. This is fun for your dog--he's not going to read a book or watch tv--interacting with you is the major part of his life and training is the interface for the interaction :).
