There are a few minor tasks that need to be taken care of, but the most important duty is to report back to Tourism Queensland (and the world) and let us know what’s taking place on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.

  • So when do I start?

    Ok - I realize Americans are not exactly Mr. Popular right now, BUT - I have wanted to move to Austraila since I was a little girl! My lifelong computer password is an obscure Aussie Bush town! I am rescue-certified in scuba! I have backpacked around the world! The Great Barrier Reef is my wet dream! I have a BS in Neuropsych! Girls look better in bikinis!

    If this is a farce I am going to be really pissed off.

    Seriously, I have great creative writing skills, AND am EXTREMELY well qualified to live on an island for 6 months!

    My qualifications include but are not limited to:

    Cleaning the pool
    Feeding the fish
    Collecting the mail
    Exploring the islands and reporting back!

    I travel solo and light, and carry no baggage...in any way shape of form! Certainly it is going to be a very difficult decision to make but I sincerely hope to receive some consideration and would be more than happy to submit a professional and personal resume'. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for an appreciative deserving person.

    I LOVE the island life! I've been around water (swimming pools, beaches, lakes, and islands) for most of my life.....just can't get enough!! I can take care of pools, clean filtration systems, snorkel, record experiences, etc..........May my wife tag along?
