Dog Training Las Vegas Schutzhund Retrieve Over the Jump

Mr. Foxx competes in Schutzhund. Schutzhund has one of the most strict obedience routines and is judged meticulously. The video is short and it might simply seem like the dog is jumping, grabbing the dumbbell and returning--but every move the dog and handler is watched and judged.
1. the dog and handler must heel up and get the dumbbell
2. the dog must sit by my side calmly without moving or whining until I throw the dumbbell and then tell him to jump and retrieve
3. when commanded, the dog must go out quickly and jump without touching the hurdle
4. he must not overshoot the dumbbell or touch it with his paws or play with it-he must pick it up without chewing
5. he must return as quickly as he went out and jump again without touching the hurdle
6. he must sit directly in front of me holding the dumbbell calmly without chewing
7. he must release immediately when I tell him
8. he must sit in front of me without moving for a couple of seconds
9. he must return to perfect basic position by my left side when commanded.
There are 3 different retrieves in a Schutzhund competition and they account for 40 points out of 100 for the obedience portion of the competition. Perfect retrieves say a lot about a dog's willingness to obey, relationship with the handler and level of drive.
