tgr420 is right. It was after cell games when trunks returned home and defeated the androids and cell. First part was history of trunks movie. Also, great movie and great music. Nice job putting it together.

  The beginning was from the movie I think The History of Trunks, and the parts with the CartoonNetwork logo came from the end of the Cell Games saga.

  Trunks never beat the androids in the series. Besides, he wore saiyan armor during the Cell sagas. The second half is from the alternate timeline where he kills the androids and is then killed by Cell for destroying his "upgrades".

  cell never killed trunks, when trunks left the z fighters after gohan killed cell, trunks easily defeated 17 and 18, then killed cell before he took the time machine
