Stuart Wyatt, the primary thorn in the side of the Church of Scientology in Plymouth and hero to Anonymous, has been given a 12 month and 8 month jail sentence suspended for 2 years, for cultivating and supplying cannabis for medicinal use.

This means he will not go to jail as long as he does not commit a crime in the next two years.

As he wasn’t fined either, this is probably a more compassionate result than Stuart and all of his family, friends and fans could have hoped for.

For those not familiar with Stuart’s appearance in court, his house was raided in June by the police following a bogus charge of assault by a local Scientologist.

Stuart has a painful physical disability (similar to Multiple Sclerosis) and requires a mobility scooter to get around and, at a local protest by Anonymous at Plymouth Scientology’s “Stress Test Cart” in the city centre, a Scientologist deliberately walked in front of Stuart’s scooter and one of the wheels ran over her foot.

The manipulative Scientologist reported Stuart for assault but the police saw through the phony assault charge, and it was immediately dropped.

However, Stuart was charged for possession of medicinal cannabis (it is the only drug that alleviates his pain) and for his intent to supply it to other people with similar diseases.

Thankfully, the judge was compassionate to Stuart’s disease and set him free.
