Save the Children has worked in Gaza and the West Bank for more than 30 years. The agency implements nearly half of its programs there in conjunction with local partners.
In the first two weeks of the crisis in Gaza, Save the Children staff members delivered food packages to some 9,000 people, including over 4,700 children. However, continuing violence is hampering the agency's ability to provide humanitarian assistance.
