Sponsor: FREETALKLIVE.COM - When exaggeration-prone tax protester Ed Brown claimed he was being tortured at the Wyatt Detention Facility in RI, even I declined to report on it at first. But the Feds have now tacitly confirmed something is amiss at the controversial facility. They've pulled all their immigration detainees from the jail where they caged him. Why? Because one of Ed's fellow prisoners died there after being refused medical care. This video was edited around 1/15/09 and first uploaded around 1/16.

Well if your trying to put God in a testing tube or a controlled experiment, your mistaking. I agree that good knowledge comes from science, but people forget about historical, philosophical, moral knowledge etc. This of course could be explained easier in more length. But a very logical and reasonable answer is the cause and effect. Everything is caused by something and every effect is from a cause. So what is the first cause? We must have an outside source that is not an effect!

i'm open to the possibility of beings we don't understand, possibly quite powerful. but the likelihood is slim and none. and to continue to press such an old issue in the face of current events and science is just a waste.
look at where 'christian morality' has brought us. of what use was it to society? what is it's structure?
Well there is a big flaw in your proposition. Its like scratching the surface of a painting and looking for the painter. Draw a large circle on some paper, in it write "All Knowledge." Now out of all the knowledge that ever was, is and will be. How much do you know? And put it in this circle. Even the most arrogant person will only put a small dot. It is completely unreasonable to say, "I know that God does not exist." You would have to know everything to confirm this, one would have to be God.

we've got eachother. instead of supposing that the only standard of morality is a recent incarnation of a very lame idea, why not actually find commonality? it's really not hard at all.
The benefits of voluntary interaction in action.

I'm just stunned at how many people are not taking the Biblical view point. I'm sure its just YouTube. Like Mr. Ridley says, as long as we turn the other direction we can get off at other stops.

"
The reality is, is that there is very little justice in this Country to be obtained through "legal" means. The judiciary has been pretty much fully stacked and politically controlled (i.e. no judicial independence), the Congress doesn't represent the people at all, and the executive exercises despotic rule. No justice = No liberty. The reality is, that we all live in a totalitarian state -- and it's getting worse.

You had your chance. You are now blocked, and marked as spam. Keep your religion in your pants, farm boy.
thanks again dave!
By smartbandwidth [Affiliate User] 1232154935 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm against taxes as well. But you need to understand the sovereignty of God. Everything is own by God. When the state claims property taxes, they claim that they own it. Which is completely insane. God own this earth. And you don't need to pay property taxes on something God gives you. I'm not forcing anything. But the standard of morality is set by God. Otherwise where do you get it?

Seriously, congrats. I look forward to reducing my taxable income to 0 someday, too.
Legally, of course. Yup.
I keep hoping that Tom DiLorenzo will write his book, "The Revolution of 1913".
The same group of people, the "Progressives", gave us the IRS, the Federal Reserve, direct election of Senators (putting the spike through the heart of States Rights once and for all), alcohol prohibition and World War 1 (which, because of the ideologically driven "unconditional surrender" led directly to WW2).
Please understand, you can rule your life by any theocracy you want. Sit on a mountain an hum "Ohm" or flagelate yourself, go ahead.
Just don't force other people to YOUR morality.
That said, I have no interest in your taxes, be they to your government or your god. You tithe what you want.
What is wrong with everyone who thinks it is ok for the incoming treasury secratary to evade taxes for years, but Ed and Elaine are in prison for the same thing? THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO KNOW? Is there any justice in our country any more?
When will the incoming treasury secratary be in a cell next to Ed?? Elaine would have paid her taxes too, if they would have SHOWN HER THE LAW.
Thanks for the report Dave, as always, informative.
