Sorry in advance for the poor quality, I used an analog video camera back then. Watch mehigh on sugar and caffeine. (And the truth to all the 'fake' screamers :: after effects , preimere ,and some green screen.)A lot of frame by frame work. Was made around 1999.

  If I remember right, (video from 7 years ago..)
  I used poser to animate the man moving fast in circles on an alpha channel and then composite it with after effects.

  Just simply do the reverse of slow motion-Fast motion and add lots of motion blur. that would only take about 5 mins and would create the same effect...
