steve was a great persom he cared and respected all animals, and he did all he could to ensure that they had a chance at life. he was my idol he stood 4 everyting that i believe in. i still can't believe he is gone, he will be greatly missed but will live on forever in our hearts as "the croc hunter" even though he never hunted them.

i dedicate the next 10yrs of veternairy school 2 him cause it will help even though just a little to make his dream of animals and humans living 2gether in harmony a reality we will miss u steve

I tried to tell him he was stoopid for doing the S**t he did. I nearly got my thumb bit off feeding a 4 foot iguana. He got what he deserved I guess. Luckily he didnt get his kid eaten when he was tempting the croc with the infant.

when i heard the news i thought it was a bad joke but it was no bad joke.a real hero has died and all i was able to think it was his daughter bindi and his wife terry.i mean straight to his giagantic heart he was stinged it`s unheard.steve was bitten by all kind of snakes,iguanas and he FOUGHT crocodiles for god`s sake and he came unhurt.STEVE GOD BLESS YOU.MAY YOU REST IN PEACE

An irriplaceable dude, his enthusiasm towards everything taught me a lot and unlike others he made me laugh my ass off a lot of the time, he was the most entertaining dude ever, always made me laugh whenever i saw him on tv and taught me a hell of a lot.

The charismatic star, dubbed the Crocodile Hunter after his hit TV show, was diving off Australia's northeast coast filming an underwater documentary. Local diving operator STEVE EDMONDSON, whose Poseidon boats were out on the Great Barrier Reef when the accident occurred, confirms, "Steve was hit by a stingray in the chest. "He probably died from a cardiac arrest from the injury." Although paramedics rushed the 44-year-old to hospital by helicopter, he was dead before they arrived, police said. The daredevil star garnered a cult following for his TV antics, which included wrestling snakes and crocodiles. He also played himself in 2002 movie THE CROCODILE HUNTER: COLLISION COURSE and made a cameo appearance alongside EDDIE MURPHY in the 2001 movie DR DOLITTLE 2. Irwin is survived by wife TERRI and their two children, BINDI SUE and BOB CLARENCE.

Its amazing that nearly 10 hours ago, when I submitted my video, there were NO other submissions about Steve Irwin (RIP). Now that I have done another search there are 4 others (including a small slideshow i submitted). I'm glad to see that people are doing something to show their love for this man and his family and what he believed in. To make a better world for us and the animals.

Steve Irwin was an inspiration for millions around the world, as it was for me, we should learn from him, and appreciate the wonders of nature and learn to conserve it, i'm an animal lover and it was very sad for me to hear this news, anyways Steve may God be with you and know that you're mission in life was not in vain, and that you will always be remembered by all of us!.

Steve Erwin was an annoying Aussie smart arse who wouldn't leave any creature alone no matter how harmless it was, all in the name of 'nature loving'. I wouldn't have wished his end like that but in a way he had it coming.
