He loved his S**t and was good at sharing why he loved it. A great teacher... I heard that even in the moments of his death when he pulled the stingray claw thing out of his chest he was still speaking into the camera explaining it so that people could learn from it... what a guy. Would like to see that video... and i reckon he would want people to see it too.

You got to respect that also. He deserves a honorable place in history as a protector and spokesman for animals. But don´t turn him into something he did not intend to be. HE DESERVES THAT.
Remember that we know this person from media only: we don´t know who he was behind the camera. A human beign just like you and me with faults and great virtues.

Some human beings are greater than others. Irwing was such a man. Loved all living creatures, cared for them. A true friend of all living. I think he was greater than the inventors of different great things. After all, it's just things...Steve cared about today, the things that are ALIVE. And protected, and searched knowledge for all of us. Thanks to him, we today have got a great insight in how many wild animals live their lives where man is not present.

In my view Steve Irwin had almost "magic" and drawing apparence when he performed with the animal creatures which he loved. He openly treated every creature like he was its brother. His approach was combined with his ability fit in perfectly like he belonged there.He was daring but respectful. That made him charismatic and loved by audience and those around him. He invested large funds to protect animals and wildlife. But that was not all. He shared some of his privacy and that added to everything! One program was about His wife giving birth and on another show later he held his newborn son while feeding a Croc!! People have different interpetations but I honestly dont´t know.

That bloke had so many memories and gave me and everyone memories some toutching to the heart and some too painfull to remember. i could see the smile on steve's face, and hear him yelling "crikey!" his passion and enthusiam for wildlife conservation made him a true wildlife warrior. the faact that setve gave his life doing what he loved makes him a legend. gone but never will be forgotten! we love you steve-o. we'll miss you. rest in peace, mate!

It's just hard to actually grasp that he's dead.. It just seemed impossible when I was watching his show back in the '90s...
