Whale Playing with a Dog

it is a dolphin not a porpoise. It is of the delphinidae family. Sort of the same differemce between a frog and toad, turtle and tortoise, and alligator and crocodile.

You should be asking that question to yourself, idiot. Killer whales or Orcas are in fact the largest species of dolphins, so yeah they are within the dolphin species... People call them killer whales, because, either one, there is a mis-translation from early Spanish sailors' description, possibly they meant whale killers, cause Orcas are known to hunt and kill whales. Another reason is that they are known for their hunting and killing skills.

the factthat they have been seen killing all sorts of animals even attacking humans. Killer whale because they are about as dangerous as any shark. Go ahead try to play with one, I've seen one near Oregon trying to capside a boat.

Are these types of whales a danger to humans when we swim? (aside from Shamoo)
