    THAT MUST BE TERRIFING WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THE FACTORY!WHO EVER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT MUST HAVE BEEN VERY STUPID .I HOPE THERE WERE SURVIVORS.HOW DID THEY GET THE VIDEO BECAUSE THE CAMERA PROBABLY GOT DESTROYED.

      I'll tell you it could or could not be someone's fault. If certain chemicals are mixed things become spontaniously combustible. Even regular 1.4G fireworks can spontaniously ignite, but they are regulated pretty well so that they don't...

      The large blasts you saw were flash powder or BP... pretty stupid to have them stored in one place like that though, large amounts of flash or bp should be seperated!!

      The two photographers on that roof survived, but a few fire men, standing next to the containers when the whole thing blew apart, died. This was in Enschede in the Netherlands.

  • i have seen that

    i used to live in a town near the place where this happened. i could see the smoke through my window. i thought i was someone who had an accident wth his bbq. when i turned the tv on it turned out to be a firework factory which was exploded. lots of peole lost their houses or even died. so don't say this looks cool, it really isn't.

    This happend in Enschede in the Netherlands.
    22 people got killed, about 950 injured.
    The factory was in the middle of a district and about 400 houses where destroyed (http://www.nrc.nl/W2/Lab/Enschede/panorama2.jpg)
    The total amount of fireworks that exploded was around 100.000 kilograms.

    hope there were no fatalities. We had one here in Ohio that killed the 9 people working inside.The ground shook for at least 10 mile radious.

    it happened in Indonesia about more than a decade ago, it caused panic for weeks and my mom said she had to carry me and ran with our belongings. I didnt remember anything 'cos i was just a baby but from what my mom told me it must be really scary (and after watching this I believe it is)

    reminds me of the one pink panther movie, only the characters were actually inside the factory building the time when all the fireworks went off, this looks like it is for real though, not fake, and it looks boring, at least in the movie it was interesting
