What if you were 37 years old, and didn't know what the internet was when you were 27? You also wouldn't know what YouTube was, and wouldn't have seen this video till you were middle-aged. As much as I want what you want, I'm happy where I'm at. It's a F**king amazing world... no matter what the age.

I'm 27 years old, but I wish I could be born ten years from now so that I can witness some of the cool technology the future has to offer.

Amazing. Modern technology is advancing at an almost scary pace. 20 years ago, this would have never been dreamed by the wildest scientists. It had to be envisioned by a science fiction filmmaker.

I agree, if they can find a way to link the control to the neural network, which will probably take at least another 10 years or so, this thing would be one of the most valuable pieces of equipment for functionality on a human body in the history of mankind. I'm still awestruck.

The Segway is more of a concept piece for something much more complex. It won't roll, and you just tilt it a little to make it move. If you don't have enough of your leg left to control a prosthesis, then you could just tilt yourself forward a little, and the gyroscope would tell the leg to move to keep you balanced. The Segway, while utterly pointless, is more of a stepping stone to something greater.
