A4E are a private sector company who have the government contract to run the New Deal program for the long-term unemployed in the UK. A4E get paid up to GBP 194 per client per week of taxpayers money. No wonder Emma Harrison, reputedly worth GBP 40 million, is always smiling.

A4E have an entry in The Urban Dictionary, which defines them as "an organisation whose sole purpose is to make jobless peoples lives a misery by boring them to insanity with yellow walls and hollow tasks in a fascist dictatorship of jobsworth failures".
