As for those of you who think that you kids might get hurt trying to do this I have two questions:

1) Why have you left Fine Powdered Iron Oxide, Fine Powdered Aluminiun and Strips of Magnesium just lying around the place for your kids to make Thermite with??

2) Why you haven't taught your kids to think rationally enough to know that this is a scientific demonstration and not something to do for the fun of it?

Answer either of those questions without realizing you're an idiot in the first place, cause it takes an idiot to allow either of these suituations to occur in todays world.
