Hundreds of children die each year in Panama due to chronic malnutrition.

And yet the largest private donation ever made in this country - a 7,200 acre beachfront estate left by American expatriate Wilson Lucom (valued between $50 - $144 million) - has been delayed for two and a half years due to the greed of a powerful Panamanian family.

Will Panama's poorest children ever see the millions in food aid that were left for them?

U.S. attorney Richard Lehman continues to defend the donation against a powerful local family and a corrupt legal system. For his efforts, he was falsely charged with murder, extortion and 12 additional crimes, threatened with multiple arrest warrants, posted on Interpol's 'most wanted' list and barred from re-entering the country.

On January 21, 2009, Lehman made his triumphant return to Panama for the first time - and established a new public charity coalition to help defend Lucom's millions for the poor children of Panama.

The case is currently pending before the Panama Supreme Court.
