Basic Frying Rice. Remember, always cook rice in rice cooker, safe and will never get burned.

***the most important thing for frying rice is the rice: Do not add excessive water when you cooking rice, after rice is done, toss them right away so they wont stick together...let them cool down...perfect for frying****

I usually add boiled green peas or boiled mixed vegetables (takes about 6 min. to be done) stir-fried chicken or beef or precooked shrimp. - One or two of them.

Sure you can always add cooked veg. or shrimp before you add rice - this way, the veg have more taste.

If you prefer onion than green onion, then use fine chopped white onion replace the green onion,cook a little longer with the onion . It goes well with fried rice, taste great, too.

If you don't eat eggs,you don't need to add eggs.

    make fried rice from watching these videos. I also figured out that you don't have to use leftover cooked rice from the night before. How? Peel some tire to the local grocery store and buy some precooked rice that comes in a bag and boils for three to five minutes in a microwave.

    Tastes better.

    cooking in some soy sauce. Also if you know how to cook rice a rice cooker is not needed.

      you can add soy sauce right before you turn off the stove. Or you can add it to the plate. I prefer light soy sauce, because the dark soy sauce 's color is very dark, make the plate not looking good. Light soy sauce is very salty.

      We Chinese people always cook rice in rice cooker because we eat a lot rice( almost everyday).

      If you dont have a rice cooker, then you can cook it in other ways.

    u shd put garlic in the oil 1st. then put in overnight cooked rice. then add soya sauce. then add an egg. stir it. then put in chopped spring onions. the reason y u should put in rice b4 the egg coz by this way, your rice can be covered with egg evenly.. try it. u will get a better taste of fried rice! =)
