Saw the real thing
Once at the Royal Air Museum at Duxford and then again when one buzzed the base during an exercise.

It's a loud SOB. A literal Earthshaker. No wonder it's called Vulcan.

i seen a real one when i was about 8, at a local air field , (croft aerodrome) uk, scared the S**t out of me, the ground shook when it climed almost strait up, then a lightning took off and disapeared into nowhere, all down to frank whittle,
