those arent cheap fake swords. i have no doubt the katanas i bought on home shopping network are of the best quality available on earth. this was obviously a nobunaga samurai table, capable of bending light and stopping time. fyi, chuck norris was forged on a table such as this.

You don't get a sword made out of 440 stainless steel. If its 440 stainless, its a good bet its only a display piece, and certainly not for whacking on the table. A well-made sword will be made out of high carbon steel, or, if you want to pay extra, folded swedish powder steel. Anyway, you should never be smacking a sword on any hard object like that. A good sword deserves respect and proper handling. This idiot deserved what he got--he's just lucky he didnt get more seriously injured.
