Tegucigalpa, Honduras
The airplane landing that you see is Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I've landed there many times and it's a hairy experience. At the other end is a drop-off. Taca Airlines had an accident there in 2008. It went off the cliff, the plane broke up and five people were killed. Two of them on the ground because the plane crushed two vehicles that were driving by.

  How bad must the infrastructural situation there be if they find no better area to place a runway!
  If every plane which wants to land there has to do such a maneuver like this one, it was just a question of time until one crashes!
  Could they not possibly find a slightly better place to build their runway?
  
  I mean they must have had some kind of a meeting or so where they sat together and debated over where to build it!?!
  How drunk must they have been to decide for this valley!

Man that's just plain nuts. Just looking at it the runway seems short. And he had to clear the hill then drop in for the landing.That's Crazy.
